Nottingham Corpus of Geospatial Language (NCGL)

The Nottingham Corpus of Geospatial Language is a collection of natural language geospatial clauses (sentences and parts of sentences) harvested from the web.  The current version of the corpus is v1.0, containing 10,146 clauses and 233,115 words.  The corpus can be queried using our simple concordancer.

The corpus was developed by the geospatial semantics team (led by Dr Kristin Stock) based at the Nottingham Geospatial Institute (NGI) at the University of Nottingham.



  The corpus is made available under the Open Database License. Any rights to individual contents of the database are licensed under the Database Contents License.
